do you ever have one of those weekends that just turn out to be really great? even without planning it all out? yeah...

saturday we went to wendy girl's (see last layout) birthday gig. well...it's not her official gig cuz her hubby has a birthday in a few weeks - they both are turning 40 this year - but how can you not at least have a little fun on your actual 40th birthday? we played this cook off game. pile of ingredients - teams - no recipes - go!

oh my. asian theme. the tofu was very surprising! it was good! lol. and..um...well...some of those concoctions...wow. had a roaring good time.

spent some qaulity time with the babe - then he left sunday for his last official Air Force trip to Cali.

great message at church - on the end times. we'll see where that goes.

and a last minute 18 year old birthday invite. which was sitting around the kitchen table eating home made pie and just chatting about most everything. fun times.

i'm going to take it easy this week. yes, get things done but at a slower pace. the future of the next few months could be hectic and i'd like to just charge up abit.
